🎮The Development

The initial version of the game was developed during "*Just Play: a game jam for justice*," an online competition held from December 1st, 2023 to January 8th, 2024. This event challenged developers worldwide to creatively explore themes of justice through games.
After winning the event's grand prize award and receiving multiple honors, along with participating in game industry showcases with a wonderful public reception, the development team is now developing Pip Pepper Park Planner into a full upcoming commercial game.
The game focuses on three main social themes: spatial justice, environmental literacy, and community empowerment. It explores how these principles intersect with architectural design and public spaces through the lens of community, environmental, and philosophical justice.

Pip Pepper Park Planner is an upcoming cozy, strategy game in which you play as Pip, a tiny bird with a giant job: to design parks for animals to enjoy. Can you build a park that all the animals will love?‎

Create your own fully customizable park choosing different structures for each park area. With +300 possible combinations available in the released demo, you get to decide what happens next.

🏆 Honors and Awards:

Pip Pepper Park Planner’s logo alongside 4 designs that display the games awards: Grand Prize and a Design Achievement from Just Play: a game jam for justice. And its showcases participation at South By SouthWest 2024 (Austin,TX) and at EMF Camp 2024’s Arcade (UK).

<aside> 🏅 Pip Pepper Park Planner was selected as the Grand Prize Winner of the Just Play Game Jam by Cinereach , Anima Interactive and **Dreamspace.** It was also honored with a Design Achievement. The game was exhibited at South by Southwest (SXSW) 2024's Creative Industries Expo (Just Play Booth °1037) in Austin, Texas from March 10-13th.

The game was selected to participate at EMF Camp 2024’s Arcade (UK), May 31th-Jun 2nd. It was also selected to participate in the Brilliant Indie Treasures physical showcase event during Develop: Brighton on July 10th, 2024. Being selected later on to participate in the GDoC Expo during September 18–21, 2024 - including its GDoC 2024 Steam sale.

Most recently, the game was showcased in Playapalooza Dundee on Friday 31st January 2025.
